I was very saddened to hear about Jeremy Lusk, the motocross rider who died while performing the Hart Attack at a Saturday competition in San Jose, Costa Rica. Motocross has become a daredevil sport and this accident shows the true dangers of a sport that I love.
Julie Andrews Edwards has written a number of very successful books for children. The Great American Mousical and Mandy are both in my personal library. Her books are enjoyable to older children, ages nine and up. Mandy is a story about a young orphan girl in the tradition of The Secret Garden and Little Princess. The Great American Mousical is about a mouse musical put in peril when our leading lady gets into trouble. All of the books written by Julie Andrews Edwards and her daughter are sweet and nurture children’s imagination.
